  • You know, not that anyone is going to read this so late in the game, but what the heck. I happen to be very familiar with the particulars of this story. The principal released a statement that pointed out students at AHS are not suspended for kissing. Read between the lines.

  • aqua surf, I don't know what state or school's situation is, but I can tell you what mine is. The teacher is required to use a curriculum purchased by the school district that mandates what will be taught each day.

  • I think there's a very real difference between "for the public's good" and "for your own good." Gov. Perry would have been better off, IMO, rolling out a public awareness campaign as opposed to attempting to require the vaccine.

  • Eh, I'm just telling you what the rules are. If a parent wants to press the issue, they win. Most parents sign a release, but there are a few who refuse to and those kids can't be in the yearbook, etc. Odd, I know, but there you go.
